White Water Rafting

1. An opportunity to White Water River Raft & earn merit badges to boot!  $350 per participant with all meals and equipment provided by the rafting tour guides.  Parents, guardians and siblings are welcome to join the adventure.

– meet at Covington in Class A uniform around 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 6

– camp overnight (tents provided by the rafting tour guides)

• Saturday: Hot drinks served at 7 am, breakfast after 8 am. We gear up and get on the river after 10:30 am. We raft all day on the Gorge, taking a break for lunch. We return to camp after 4:30 pm. Dinner is served after 6:30 pm.
• Sunday: Hot drinks served at 7 am, breakfast after 8 am. We leave in a van around 9 am and drive up to Chili Bar. We all raft down 6 miles to Marshall Park. There we put some of the participants into duckies. Everyone travels the 3 miles back to our camp via the river. We eat lunch and say goodbye around 3 pm.In order to secure your spot, due to PayPal challenges, you must immediately send a check payable to:Los Altos Troop 37c/o Tim Mitchell
