Pinnacles Family Camp

A major event for Troop 37& 201 scouts and families. An ideal opportunity for rank-advancement. Includes Rim of the Bay 10 mile hike, rock climbing, cave-crawl and overall GREAT TIME.

Please plan to meet at Covington at 3:45 sharp for 4:00 departure.  We need to get to camp with enough daylight to set up our tents.
Our Pinnacles FAMILY CAMP is coming up on May-2 through May-4.  This is an ideal experience for all scouts and their families to enjoy the Troop 37/T201 experience.  We have booked two areas: one for scouts and one for adults/siblings.  We enjoy hiking; climbing and even can go through some giant caves.  The camping facilities are top-notch with bathrooms and a pool with showers.
If you have not been to Pinnacles, Troop 37/201 does a first-class camping experience with delicious food and great socializing.  The scouts will learn skills/teach skills and develop their leadership. If you can only come for one night please feel free to do one half. (We always need drivers to Pinnacles or to Los Altos on Saturday).
 
Cost:  $40 per Scout, Adults & Sibling
 
We encourage all families to sign up on the troop calendar.
Volunteers needed too:
  1. Drivers – we need adults with big cars to take their families and another scout or two.
  2. Shoppers  – Even if you don’t go, we need people to buy and store the food for our ‘army’
  3. Trailer Driver – The troop has a trailer with all the gear.  Ideally we have a mom/dad with experience towing a trailer and a car/truck that can tow it.
  4. General supervision – During camp we need a person/some people to coordinate the camp. Maybe help cook, maybe staff the radio, etc.  A good opportunity to be in charge for a few hours.
