Pinnacles Family Camp

This two night camping trip is at Pinnacles National Park, approximately 1.5 hours (no traffic) from Los Altos. Families are encouraged to attend. On this trip, scouts will camp with their troop and family members and adult leaders will camp at an adjacent campsite. Adults (and non-scout family members) will have food prepared in a central kitchen. In the week prior, we will reach out to those in attendance for dietary restrictions. We have previously accommodated – nut allergies, gluten free, vegan, etc. Scouts will be divided into patrols prior to departure, and will be fed by the patrol cook(s). Everyone just needs to bring their own camping gear (tents, sleeping bags, mess kit, etc.).

This is a great opportunity for scouts and families to learn skills, complete at 10-mile hike, rock climb, cave crawl and most importantly make new friends and spend some time offline with current friends.

Cost is $50/person and covers campground fees and food for the weekend.
