Gold Rush Adventure! 2024

Experience the “gold fever” of pioneers flocking west to find their fame and fortune. Do you have what takes to stake and work your claim? Pan for gold, shoot archery and muzzleloading rifles, start a fire with flint & steel, make candles, rope, and bullets, lasso a steer and cut wood for your cabin!
Cost: $85 per participant.
Limit of 30 total participants per troop (scouts, adults). Webelos are no longer permitted to attend
Scout limit: 25 current troop scouts. Scouts who attend will host the Webelos guests and possibly help run stations.
Troop Adult limit: 5 adults. Each adult will help run stations or cook for adults.
Note, new for 2024, the council registration process is a lottery.

Our troops will enter the lottery and be awarded some number of spots, up to 30 per troop.

We will then allocate our spots based on payment time in CheddarUp

(exception: Fall SPLs and a few leadership positions needed to run camp will supersede the payment order)

Any registrants beyond our allotted spots will be refunded by T37/201
Troop 201 & 37 will be responsible for running 2-3 stations.
Please remember to:
1. Bring the consent forms (your scout will not be able to participate at shooting and tomahawk throw without them).
2. Give your scouts some change (quarters and dollars – no bills larger than $5) for the Saloon and General Store
3. Bring dinner for Friday night.
4. Meet up at Covington prior to 4pm on Friday.
5. Do self-screening for COVID. Stay at home if you’re sick.
