Memorial Day Grave Decoration
May 25, 2024 @ 6:30 am - 1:00 pm
The Grave Decoration event is a chance for us to honor the deceased veterans for Memorial Day. Scouts from all over the Bay Area come to help in this service project and honor those who have served our nation. We will plant American flags on the graves. In addition, Scouts will receive 3 service hours for this event, which is helpful for earning all Scout ranks Tenderfoot and up. There is no fee to attend this event, and parents and siblings are welcome to attend as well.
All scouts must wear full Class A uniforms.
We will meet at Covington School (205 Covington Ave, Los Altos) at 6:30am on Saturday, May 25 to caravan up to Golden Gate National Cemetery.
