The aircraft carrier USS Hornet is a national treasure, having participated in two of the greatest events of the 20th century — World War II and the Apollo 11 manned space mission when the first humans in the history of mankind set foot upon the moon. The USS Hornet is docked in Alameda at 707 W. Hornet Ave, Pier 3. This is an amazing experience for everyone and you don’t even have to sleep on the floor! Costs: 85$ per person
Equipment considerations: wear class A, bring change of clothes, sleeping bag, warm jackets, and toiletries. We will be sleeping in bunkbeds under the flight deck.
