SUMMARY:Kayak Camp
DESCRIPTION:This weeklong camp is at the Butte Lake campground in Lassen National Park. It is our signature camp and is run completely by scouts and adult volunteers. Scouts can work on skills\, earn merit badges\, kayak on the lake and generally have fun in the wilderness with fellow scouts. While all adults attending are asked to help in various ways\, there is still plenty of time for them to enjoy nature\, go on hikes and kayak on the lake. All meals are prepared in a central kitchen (for both adults and scouts) and everyone in attendance takes shifts helping out in the kitchen. There is limited to no cell service at the campground\, but service can generally be obtained by hiking to the top of Cinder Cone or driving out of camp about 30 minutes. DESCRIPTION:Please confirm your registration by paying in ChedderUp with this link: \nhttps://bsa-camp-royaneh-2026.cheddarup.com/ \n  \nCamp Royaneh is a Nationally Accredited Boy Scout camp located in the beautiful coastal Redwoods area near Cazadero\, in Sonoma County. The weather at Royaneh is moderately warm in the afternoons and cool in the evenings. Royaneh has a quality dining hall\, campsites that offer cabin and tent camping\, shooting ranges\, and more. During Summer Camp program\, activities include a COPE course (Challenging Outdoor Personal Experience) set high amongst the Redwoods\, swimming in our Olympic size swimming pool\, Shooting Sports\, including archery\, rifle\, shotgun and black powder in the Mountain Man area.
