DESCRIPTION:NOTE:  This year\, Shooting Sports Weekend is a lottery-based system. \nT37/T201 will attempt to enter the lottery for the number of spots paid for in CheddarUp. If we do not win the lottery\, registrations will be refunded. \n\n\nMaximum 10 Scouts each from Troop 37 and Troop 201; 2 adults required per troop.\n\n\nWhat\n\n\nShooting Sports Weekend\n\n\n\n\nActivities\n\n\nArchery\n\n\nTomahawks\n\n\nSlingshot\n\n\nAir Rifle\n\n\n.22LR Rifle\n\n\nMuzzleloading Rifle\n\n\nShotgun\n\n\n\n\nWhen\n\n\nFriday March 22\, 2024 6:00pm- Sunday\, March 24 Noon\n\n\nMANDATORY**** safety briefing starts at 8:30 AM\, Saturday. If you are not there on time you cannot shoot!\n\n\n\n\nCost\n\n\n$140/Scout (limited to 84)\n\n\n$70/Adults (can shoot some but priority goes to Scouts)\n\n\n\n\nWhere\n\n\nBoulder Creek Scout Reservation\n\n\nLearn more about BCSR\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWho\n\n\nScouts BSA & Venturers – limited to 84 Scouts\n\n\nEach unit can only enter the lottery for spots for up to 10 youth.\n\n\nParticipation at each station may depend on strength and are at the discretion of the instructors\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDetails\n\n\nLottery registration opens Monday\, February 5 at 9:00 AM and closes Sunday\, February 11 at 5:00 PM\n\n\nSign-ups are by “contingent” only (as a troop/crew\, NO individual sign-ups).\n\n\nOnly units within Pacific Skyline Council can sign up for the lottery.\n\n\nAll registrations will immediately be placed on the waitlist — this is your unit’s lottery entry. \n\n\nLottery results will be announced on Monday\, February 12.\n\n\nIf your unit wins spots in the lottery\, payment must be made by Monday\, February 19 or your spots will be given to the next unit in the lottery. \n\n\nRegistration will re-open on February 20.  \n\n\nAny remaining youth slots will be offered first to units in lottery order that didn’t win spots in the previous week\, followed by units that already won and wish to bring more youth\, followed by any units (in or out of Council) that register on or after February 20.\n\n\n\n\nEvent Details\n\n\nEye and ear protection will be provided and must be worn at all ranges.\n\n\nAdults can shoot\, time permitting; Scouts have priority.\n\n\nAll participants must bring 2 signed copies of the Shooting Sports Authorization Form\n\n\nUnits will provide their own food and cook their own meals in their camp\n\n\nThere will be an all-camp Ice Cream Social on Saturday evening.\n\n\n\n\nCamping\n\n\nUnits will be assigned a campsite for the weekend at Boulder Creek Scout Reservation (Friday night and Saturday night) — you do not need to reserve a campsite ahead of time\n\n\n\n\nEach unit must have 2 adults minimum who are not on staff \nT37/T201 will attempt to enter lottery for the number of spots paid for in CheddarUp. If we do not win the lottery\, registrations will be refunded. \nFirst-come\, first-served. \n
